'The first thing you have to ask yourself is: Do you want to change? Do you want to transform your life? Because if you don't, then that's okay too.' she said. She said: 'It's not as dramatic as it used to be, but, I work at it every single day of my life. Rachel said that she is still working on herself, and believes she will be for the rest of her days. And I would 1000% subscribe to that.' Rachel Gotto. And what I say is that yes, recovery is slow, but we can also live within the journey, if you know what I mean? And we've all heard the old adage, it's not the destination. And that can be very frightening for people because they think, oh my goodness, I'm losing ground. It's up one ladder down maybe a shorter one up a long one and down a little shorter one.' she said. Rachel said her recovery and arrival at where she is now has been a long process, but she hopes her story will inspire others to keep pushing to live happily and healthily once more. 'I felt almost duty bound to tell this story.' she explained. 'My story is multiple trauma, multiple losses, so I can identify and align myself with all sorts of other people's stories and struggles and challenges. Rachel also used her experiences as she trained to become a clinical hypnotherapist. Bare bones at the beginning was to help other people understand that they too have capacity and the ability to recover.'
